The first impression was the customer service! It was my first time and he went above and beyond to ensure I order the right choice of my taste and have a pleasant experience while dining (I was looking for spicy lamb dish).
I ordered Zorbian Lamb as recommended that he also brought out fresh spicy tomato based sauce that goes along with my lamb dish very well. The lamb meat was very tender and fell off the bone and doesn't have gamey flavor. I decided to order lamb liver to go on the breakfast menu that's served with oven baked bread. SO GOOD.
They also have complimentary cinnamon tea to finish your meal. A little sweet but it's nice, light dessert and good for your digestion. -

This little gem of a restaurant is located in the same plaza as the halal Yasmeen Market on Cleveland Ave. The restaurant is fully halal as well, so anyone having this need is in luck. I was so glad my husband and I tried it out. After the initial confusion of if we order at the counter or if a server comes to us at the table and service being a little slow, things were pretty smooth.
The server explained to us that as first timers at the restaurant we should order the Lamb Fahsah and the Lamb Haneeth. He brought out the starter, which is lamb broth soup. It is very flavorful and loaded with spices. Has a kick to it as well. The lamb fahsah dish was shredded lamb served sizzling and saucy with veggies in a clay bowl along with a huge clay oven naan-like bread. The lamb haneeth (their #1 seller) was a roasted lamb dish over rice. The fahsah was so flavorful and honestly this dish filled us up itself. We had to take most of the haneeth home. Serving portions are pretty large. The flavors of the fahsah are very bold and tasty. The lamb meat of the haneeth is the most moist and soft lamb I have ever had. It is literally fall of the bone! I would definitely order both of these dishes again. I also tried the lemon juice, which was so refreshing. It is made with freshly squeezed lemons and with what seemed like a hint of mint. FYI, if you order water it's $1 because they don't serve water in a glass. -

I recently got to check out this place for the first time, and it was a pretty tasty experience. I'd never had Yemeni food before, but I'm always up for a new things. Plus, a friend had shared that she'd had great food here, so I figured I was in for a treat.
I don't remember which exact chicken dish I had, but it was one of the ones on the spicier end. The meat was cooked well and quite flavorful, and it came with a huge portion of tasty rice. I definitely had plenty to take home for leftovers.
They also provide a bowl of soup before the meal and a cup of tea after the meal complimentary. Those were unexpected bonuses that made an already affordable good meal even better. -

This place is my favorite restaurant in Columbus.
It has changed my vegetarian mindset to eat the tastiest lamb.
The staff is so warm and welcoming with a bowl of lamb broth before every meal as well as a cup of tea afterward all for free. Hospitality is impeccable.
Thank you Yemini
